Imagine you are walking to park on a Winter morning…you hear the birds chirping in the trees, the rumble of passing traffic and the sudden ring of a bike bell. You see a friend, and greet them with a wave, and you laugh as you watch them play with their new puppy. The air around you feels cold on your face, but your hands feel warm inside your soft gloves. As you get close to the park gates you start to smell cooking and your mouth starts to water, looking forward to a tasty meal at lunchtime.
Every day we are surrounded by information that our senses process. Our eyes, ears, noses, mouths and hands send information to our brain to help us understand and perceive the world around us.
