11.00am   Start making sense at Christmas

Are there really only 5 senses, or are there others we never hear about? Find out more about the familiar senses, plus a few other, less familiar ones in our show.

14.30pm    Destination Space for Christmas

It takes thousands of people with a huge range of skills to send just one astronaut into space. But, Christmas doesn’t stop because you’re in space. Find out how we keep astronaut’s safe in space, and how they celebrate the festive period while floating around the space station!

Make something a little different to take home with you!

12.30pm Melting Snowmen

Snowmen are a must at Christmas. Don’t worry if there’s no snow, you can still build – and then melt – a snowman at Cambridge Science Centre!

16.00pm Winter snowflakes

Snowflakes are a stunning natural phenomenon – intricate, beautiful patterns. Can you recreate a snowflake with us – there are some special techniques to get the perfect snowflake.
