Today’s shows:

11.00am Recycled for Life

Using nature as a guide, join us to find out why it’s important to recycle everyday items. Through a series of exciting and interactive demonstrations you’ll learn how the Earth recycles water, its most important resource, and what problems our world could face if we don’t learn lessons from natural recycling.

2.30pm  Built for speed

How do we build machines?  What makes them work and what makes them go fast?  Why are some machines faster than others and how do we build machines for speed?

Today, we will be looking at how machines work and why some are faster than others.  You can build your very own machine out of recycled materials.

Make something a little different to take home with you!

12.30pm Paper Snakes

Learn about wide variety of colours and markings on snakes and that some snakes use colour to stand out and give a signal, while others are well camouflaged, making them hard to spot in their natural habitat. Choose your favourite and make your own paper snake to take home.

16.00pm Recycled car toy

Let us show you how to transform a pile of rubbish into a fun toy car, and find out a bit about recycling along the way.
