It’s Recycling Week this week…

Today’s shows:

11.00am Same but different

Take the chance to be a part of a 5-billion-year-old story and discover why we all look a bit the same – but different! Learn about Charles Darwin’s famous voyage on The Beagle and how that helped him formulate his theory of evolution. Help us identify the similarities and differences between species and find out how species adapt to different environments – including the very weird way marine iguanas cope with swallowing saltwater!

14:30pm Recycle for life

We’ve heard that recycling is important to help save our planet, but why? Using nature as a guide, join us to find out why it’s important to recycle everyday items. Learn how the Earth recycles water, its most important resource, and discover how we can learn from nature to improve our planet.

Make something a little different to take home with you!

12.30pm

T-shirt to Tote!

Turn an old t-shirt into a handy, reusable bag to bring to the supermarket to carry your shopping!  Bring your own t-shirt…

16:00pm

Recycled Toy Cars

Using all recycled bits and pieces, make your own speedy car!
