Today’s shows:

11.00am Recycle for Life

We’ve heard that recycling is important to help save our planet, but why? Using nature as a guide, join us to find out why it’s important to recycle everyday items. Learn how the Earth recycles water, its most important resource, and discover how we can learn from nature to improve our planet.

2.30pm The Same, but Different

Take the chance to be a part of a 5-billion-year-old story and discover why we all look a bit the same – but different! Learn about Charles Darwin’s famous voyage on The Beagle and how that helped him formulate his theory of evolution. Help us identify the similarities and differences between species and find out how species adapt to different environments – including the very weird way marine iguanas cope with swallowing saltwater!

Make something a little different to take home with you!

12.30pm Bird feeder

Attract birds to your own bird feeder.  Make your feeder with us and take home to put in your garden or on your windowsill!

4.00pm Paper Beetles

Delve into the exciting world of beetles! We will talk about the huge range of beetles that can be found across the world, discover their differences and different jobs.  Make your own beetle to take home
