Cambridge Science Centre has a defining ability to go out into Community spaces. We can bring a science centre to those who live outside of Cambridge, or who are unable to visit our Cambridge Gallery. COVID-19 has forced us to stop our Community activities, as well as close our Gallery.

OpenUpScience is a free, twelve-page magazine filled with facts, puzzles, quizzes, and experiments that can all be done at home. Published weekly, each week will focus on a different theme from across the sciences. That theme aligns with our online content, giving people a similar experience both on and off-line. During COVID-19, it is being distributed for FREE!

The magazine is AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE, and has the primary goal is to inspire, excite, and entertain all primary aged children during the COVID-19 lockdown. The magazine helps get people get away from screens and limit internet and/or printing costs.

Delivery is via community groups and local businesses. Cambridge Science Centre delivers to these hubs, who then distribute to the people in their region.
