Experiencing STEM adventures does not start or stop at our door. We bring fun, high-quality hands-on science out on the road and into your communities. Our intriguing and inclusive PopUpScience Centres bring science to you, your families and schools
Each Centre offers a unique opportunity for children and young people to explore and discover different aspects of STEM. We achieve this through our rigorously tested science exhibits, engaging shows and workshops, delivered by our experienced Science Communicators.
Open to schools, community groups and interest groups as well as the local community.

STEM in the FENS
STEM in the Fens Moves to Wisbech
We are moving our popular PopUpScience Centre back to Wisbech for our second year of 'STEM in the Fens'.
For this year's visit you can find us in the old ARGOS shop in Horsefair Shopping Centre from Monday 8th April until Sunday 2nd June 2024.
For the public: Families can join us for some fun with science each Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am to 2.45pm. Further details are on our 'What's On' page or you can download our flyer HERE.
For community groups: We’d also love to hear from local community groups who would like to come along and try something a little different from Monday to Friday, so whether you are part of a children’s group or adult interest group, please get in touch with us via events@cambridgesciencecentre.org.
For schools: We are offering fully-funded workshops to KS1 and KS2 school groups, Monday through Friday, from the 15th April to the 24th May.
