Home Education Sessions – Explore – SPLAT

This series of STEM Club sessions is designed to spark curiosity and promote exploration of everyday phenomenon such as fire and light. We will investigate the scientific answers to seemingly simple questions like why do balloons pop and what makes lemonade fizz?

SPLAT

A super-messy session of spectacular splats. Investigate momentum, mass and splat patterns, make lots of different splats and explore their size and shape and see if you can predict the best conditions for the biggest splat.

This session forms part of our special programme, just for home educated young learners, with weekly sessions of hands-on activities.

The sessions will last approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes and each week will be based on a different curriculum topic. We will also have some free exploration time.

The programme will consist of 6 sessions
