  1. Sponsor an event
  2. Involve your employees in volunteering
  3. Set up a Payroll Giving scheme for your employees
  4. Your company can make a one-off donation
  5. Become a member of our esteemed Executive Council or Atomic Circle
  6. Hire our venue for a company event with a difference

Why we need corporate support

We are an independent educational charity and do not receive any income or support from central or local government. This means we are totally reliant on the generosity of enthusiastic people and businesses to enable us to spark scientific curiosity in young people, and help build the workforce of the future.

We are lucky to have the support of local businesses that share our passion for making science fun and accessible for everyone, counting some of Cambridge’s top scientific companies among our supporters – from Arm to AstraZeneca.

1. Sponsor events, exhibits, uniforms and more…

Cambridge Science Centre is an inspirational brand to align your business with, and a great way of reaching new audiences.

There is a range of exciting sponsorship opportunities waiting for companies. You can sponsor events, exhibits, our website, staff uniforms and even our new building on Clifton Road in Cambridge. All sponsorship opportunities are managed by our experienced professionals who understand your marketing needs and will help you get the most out of your sponsorship with us.

We also welcome fresh, creative and cutting-edge ideas for collaboration. We don’t offer a ‘one size fits all’ sponsorship package, because we know every business is different. Our Development Managers will listen carefully to what you would like to achieve by sponsoring Cambridge Science Centre and will work with you to create the right package for your budget and objectives.

Want to get involved? Contact our Development Manager, Rebecca Porter on rebeccaporter@cambridgesciencecentre.org or call 01223 967 965 to get started today.

2. Your employees can volunteer

3. Set up a Payroll Giving scheme for your employees

You can encourage your employees to donate to Cambridge Science Centre direct from their salaries with a ‘Give As You Earn’ scheme. Donations are taken out of salaries before tax is deducted from income, making it tax effective and hassle-free for staff.

The Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) scheme helps over 2,700 companies to give over £74 million simply, securely and tax effectively to charity each year. To set up a scheme, please download a CAF Give As You Earn Application Pack , and return it to CAF by post. If your organisation isn’t already registered with CAF, you will also need to complete an Organisation Registration Form. Once CAF have received your application, their customer service team will process it and notify you in writing when your application has been accepted. If you would like help, CAF can help with enquiries on tel. 03000 123 000 8:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.

4. Make a one-off donation

You or your staff can make a one-off donation. As little as £5 is all it takes. Our work wouldn’t be possible without your generous support. Give today.

5. Join our Executive Council or Atomic Circle

Executive Council members provide outstanding support to the Centre. They offer not only significant financial backing but also strategic guidance and global partnership opportunities. If your business is interested in joining our Executive Council find out more here. For smaller businesses or individuals, our Atomic Circle is an ideal opportunity to get involved and support our important work.
